The Department of Anesthesiology plays a critical role in ensuring safe and pain-free surgical experiences for patients across all specialties. Our team of highly trained anesthesiologists is responsible for pre-operative evaluation, intra-operative care, post-operative recovery, and pain management. With a focus on patient safety, comfort, and advanced monitoring techniques, we provide anesthesia services for routine, emergency, and high-risk surgical procedures.

As a core department in the medical curriculum, we train undergraduate and postgraduate students in the principles and practice of anesthesia. Students gain hands-on experience in operating rooms, intensive care units, and emergency response scenarios under expert supervision. The department conducts regular workshops, skill development sessions, and continuing medical education (CME) programs on topics like advanced airway management, cardiac life support (BLS/ACLS), and pain relief techniques.
Our faculty and students are involved in clinical and academic research in the fields of anesthetic drugs, patient monitoring systems, pain management, and critical care outcomes. Research is encouraged to improve patient safety, procedural efficiency, and recovery protocols.
